Hilary, are lives are parallel right now! I too am spending my Saturday writing a paper, except I'm in the library rather than at home in my room and I have no pumpkin bread :(
My paper is on Latina domestic workers (housecleaners, nannies) in Los Angeles and when it is done, will be the longest paper I've ever written. The reason I chose this topic is because I would like to use my skills (hopefully TESOL) with Latin American female immigrants here in the US. And, domestic work is a huge sector of society that latinas enter here. So...I'm gonna get to work. It helps that Angela and Emily are here with me and that this topic is extremely interesting and something I'm passionate about. I like it when my passions and school collide!
