I am SO glad that I stayed after school a few days to attend my lovely friend Chelsea's wedding in San Luis Obispo yesterday. Emily Miller rode up with me, and because she was in the wedding, I got to attend the rehearsal dinner on Saturday night and be with Chelsea as she got ready on her big day.
California is getting a ridiculous amount of rain right now which made it interesting to drive. On the way up to the wedding in the pouring rain, one of my windshield wipers popped up enough where it wasn't working, but not completely. Praise the Lord we were literally right by a Honda dealership, so I drove there and a guy popped it back on in about 5 seconds :) I have always loved weddings, but I think they are one of my favorite things. Chelsea and Seth wrote their own vows to each other, which were adorable.
Today has been filled with lots of traveling. From Santa Barbara to LAX to drop off Emily, from LAX to Biola to drop off my car, from Biola to LAX via airport shuttle, from LAX to Las Vegas after a flight delay (and where I am now) and next to Austin. My flight to Austin is also delayed, but it is all good because I wouldn't have made it otherwise. Can I just say that the Las Vegas airport is ridiculous? The noise of slot machines a few feet away from me is BEYOND annoying. Don't people get their fill of gambling outside of the airport?
I am so excited to go home. Basically since Thanksgiving I have been lacking in the sleep department so I am very excited for unscheduled, free time!
