I am thoroughly enjoying home and have spent lots of quality time with my parents, Grandma, and Hilary! (my sisters are in Alaska with their youth group until Saturday)
Going to school away from Texas definitely makes me appreciate it more when I am here. I love how green it is here, the trees, how people are so much more friendly than in California, the food (my parents took me to my favorite restaurant, Chuy's, last night), Sonic (esp. during happy hour!!!), and plenty of other things.
My dad is house-sitting next week at a friend's ranch about 2 hours away so I think we're all gonna go up for at least a couple of days. There is a river on the property for swimming and it overall sounds really beautiful. SO excited.
My disposable camera from Peru is being developed right now and the pics are ready on Saturday. I can't wait! I'll put them up here for sure.
