I am HOME after 25 hours of airplane/airport time, thanks to God. My 8-hour layover in Lima was uneventful, other than I ate really delicious ceviche, a Limain specialty.  The Texas heat AND humidity feel amazing. I keep wanting to start talking in Spanish to my parents, but then I catch myself. I listened to Spanish music all this afternoon as soon as I got home. 
I'm not really sure where I'm going with this post, other than that it's really great to be home, but I already miss Peru. I tried making fried eggs tonight for dinner the way Rosi does, but utterly failed (I'm going to miss her cooking for sure).


I know God put me in Peru this summer for a reason, even though I'm not exactly sure what that reason is. 
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." -Revelation 4:11


Thank y'all so so much for your prayers and encouragement. As I reflect more on my trip, I'm sure I'll be posting again, but for now...I'm going to sleep!
