The Divine Conspiracy

This week I finished reading The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard for my Gospel and Culture class. Ironically enough, I was feeling overwhelmed with homework/my future and lonely (for various reasons) when I read this part of the book:

"The cure for too-much-to-do is solitude and silence, for there you find you are safely more than what you do. And the cure of loneliness is solitude and silence, for there you discover in how many ways you are never alone."

Wednesday I spent a lot of time alone, resting, and reading. Even though I wasn't "getting things done," God was showing me again that His "yoke is easy" and his "burden is light."
