Library

I normally avoid the Biola library at all costs, but tonight Rachel and my friend Kate were going to study and it actually sounded appealing (and I needed to get work done). I got my work done, so now I'm doing non-school related things like taking photobooth pictures (see above) and blogging.

This weekend was the annual (mandatory) retreat for every Intercultural Studies and Anthro. major at my school. Even if something will most likely be fun, if it's "mandatory" I usually dread going. That's how I was with this retreat, BUT it ended up being way more fun than I expected. Every year seniors that were interns this summer share about their experiences one of the evenings. I was able to share this year, and it brought me back to my freshman year, listening to the seniors tell their stories and dreaming about where I would go and what I would do. It was so surreal that I am standing at the other side, having completed my internship.
Dr. Greene, the professor for all of my development classes, was part of one of the groups I shared to, and I was thinking about how much I've grown up and learned since first starting her classes. I still have a lot to learn obviously, but God has been faithful and I know He will continue to be.
